Description
Monthly Business Review meetings ensure that the business of the operation is being managed effectively and that improvement projects are identified and being delivered. This gives senior leaders an opportunity to align their team and inspire them to continuously learn and improve.
The Monthly Business Review meeting focuses on
- Reviewing actual performance against budget/forecast for the past month for each department.
- Consider how they are progressing against their annual Plan on a Page.
- Ensuring that important projects to improve performance are identified and being implemented as expected.
- Confirming plans and looking ahead for following months to identify and raise actions to resolve any identified risks.
- Review MOS health & plan for the month
Department managers should come prepared to explain their results and the projects they are leading to recover from variances and eliminate risks.
The Mine Manager should ask questions that get their team thinking about the performance of their department and ways that they can improve their learning and performance in the future.
